Pilichandi History

In a place called Perumuda, Pilichandi Daiwa was known to be very powerful. Basically, it’s an origin was from a place called Balloli. Once upon a time, there lived a head of the family called Manju Poonja, who belongs to the family called Thumbe Jaala Guthu. This family got into trouble from robbery and it increased a lot. In-order to control and catch hold of thieves, person from that family went in search of powerful Daiwa to Balloli. When they were asked, whichDaiwa they were in need of, answer was Pilichandi. When the people from Balloli disagree, Manju poonja shows them the money and gold. By then, after seeing the money they agree the deal, they had made in-order to offer the Daiwa. Later on, Manju poonja draws the sketch of the Daiwa Pilichandi on a beetle leaf and then bring it to tumbe jaale guthu and construct - make a space for the Daiwa and start believing it. Later the thieves are caught by the illusion of the Daiwa Pilichandi and were destroyed. Then Daiwa came to be known as thief trapper Daiwa.

By then, Tumba Jaale Guthu divinity increases and spreads to other villages and daiwa gets Settled, likewise, when this continued, a place called Peraara, Pilichandi wants to be placed there also, but the pre-existing powerful Daiwa called Balaandi does not agree with other divinity to be settled.

While “Daiwa Nema” ceremony was going on to the Daiwa Balaandi in Peraara village, Pilichandi Daiwa shown there through illusion. At last, when Balaandi was supposed to be offered bananas as food after the ceremony, a person called “Semitha” comes out to bring bananas and ends up in getting shots and is killed by Pilichandi.

Balaandi learns the truth that Semitha has gone out to bring bananas and didn’t return, instead he was killed from an illusion of Pilichandi, later Balaandi questions Pilichandi, what work he has here and why he came to village Paraara, so Pilichandi answers that he needs the power and to be worshipped and settled in the village Paraara, But Balaandi disagrees with his condition and rejects him. In between, their arguments grows. Later, Balaandi puts a condition to Pilichandi, saying that to prove himself a powerful deity. To bring back the person semitha, who has lost his life and get his weapon (kadsale) which is in Balloli village. Anyway, Pilichandi does proves himself. By observing Pilichandi power, Balaandi allows him get settled and give justice to the people of the Peraara village.

From Peraara, Pilichandi wanted to settle in other villages too, so he included Brahma and Ullaaya and started moving towards western coastal region (Karavali) to take bath, while travelling, On the way they came across a place Permude, nearby Bhatrogori, Brahma is being stopped, Ullaaya and Pilichandi takes bath in sea and enters the border of Permude and Kuthathuru, a hill known as Kaayaraukatte, when seen from the hill top village Permude, it seems like, “Perg perpulla, neerg nirpulla sthala” meaning “as good as milk and as cool as water”, thus permude village brings pleasure to see. From there, these deities they moved towards “Traampaara paade” and seek permission for the God, Somanatha, in-order to settle in Permude and in need of good family. So, they get to know that “Bollolimarguthu” is one of the family. Again, through an illusion, Pilichandi and Ullaaya attacks the family of Bollolimarguthu, children’s and Animal’s(cows) were in trouble with some dieses. When they seek an astrologer to find the solution, he says that 2 deities has entered, so you need to construct a place for them. So, as he instructed family constructed 7 feet length Mada for Ullaaya and 7 feet width Daiwa Gunda for Pilichandi. As, Pilichandi travelled for long in hot sun and wind to the place Permude, Bollolimarguthu is the first family to serve bowl of water and milk to Daiwa. As Pilichandi satisfied and gets settled, family had to perform Dharma Nema ceremony and Pilichandi is being worshipped.

On the Nema day, inorder to receive prasadam, a poojari named as Mukkodi Doome, to receive the prasadam, later Pilichandi told him that he wanted to visit his home and says that he wants to become the village deity and follows the poojari’s home. While going he steps into “Munjotti Paade” and he settles there also and again from there he comes to “Kallande Paade and finally he goes to Mukkodi’s house and then becomes village deity.

Kadalthaya panjurli

Kadalthaya panjurli Daiwa is said to be very powerful in the Perara village. In the village of Permude, this Daiwa was being worshipped in Mukkodi House. It was being said by our elders that, once when our elders went for “Pilichandi Nema” at night in Mukkodi and while returning back, from the hill of Mukkodi, a small tree branch (wooden piece) for the field work was brought to Bollollimaaruguthu, it was found that Kadalthaya panjurli Daiwa also came with the wooden piece. This Daiwa has shown its power in our house. Around 40 years back [1980], this Daiwa’s Gudi was about to collapse. At that time, Thimmappa Shetty who was doing seva to this Daiwa, had been to the other family’s Brahma Kalasha, the priest who was performing Kalashaabhisheka told Siddappa Mader that, some power is stopping me to offer prasadam. Priest learnt its “Kadalthaya panjurli” who blocking to offer prasadam. When the reason was asked, they said that ‘Daiwa Gudi is about to fall. So, it has to be re-constructed’. And at another occasion, in our family Govardhana (Pushpa Shethi’s son) who did all arrangements visit Saudi for some work. As he was in Mumbai, before going to Saudi, he came down to native inform his parents and to perform prayers God, Daiwa in Permude family house. He had offered his salutation to all the Gods and Daiwa’s, but missed to pray Daiwa Kadalthaya panjurli in the farm. When he returned back to Mumbai, he could not go to Saudi for one or the other reason. When it was dealt with an astrologer, he told that he did not offer his salutation to the Daiwa Kadalthaya panjurli, for that reason he is stopping you to go to Saudi, when he worshipped to that Daiwa, it was easy for him to travel Saudi.

When member from this family had brought a chicken to offer to the Daiwa during Tambila. But this chicken started growing big, it grew like a big cock. Looking at this big cock, they thought that they would get enough money if they sell this big cock and bring another chicken to cut instead of this. On the very next day, chicken which was offered to be cut, it died by itself. Likewise, many such incidents took place, and was being shown by this Daiwa.

Before the M.R.P.L company owned our land, there was a place in corner of the field named “Posanda” there was no swing or Daiwa Mancha (Ee daivogu ujvaalau, manchaavu itthiji). A small wooden piece called “Mundsa” was fixed to the ground, upon that god was being served. In the year 2003, constructed a new Gunda/Thaana with “ujjaalu”, coachi mane, kadsale (sword) and Idol was kept. Till the year 2003, this Daiwa had 2 parva. One was Chauthi parba and the other one was besada agelau (In the month of May, sankramana’s thambila). From 2003 onwards, started performing sankranthi. In these years 2001, 2005 & 2015, the Daiwa has got Nema. There was a Banta Daiwa called “Potte Panjurli” for this.

For this Daiwa, till the year 2002, Thimmappa Shetru & 2003 to 2013 Shridhar Shetru was performing parva. Since 2015 as there a slight change. Head of the family - Gadipathinar started performing Seva/Parva and now Gururaj maada is performing it.

Posappe

Posappe is a female Daiwa and is also called as Posappe, posabhuta, satyadevate and konganada shakti. This is devi’s power. This is the power of worshipping inside the house - chavadi’s padsaale. In the house of Brahmins, the Daiwa is pure vegetarian and in other caste houses, it also accepts non-vegetarian. She has the power to protect the entire family. In our house, her Daiwa Mancha(Cot) was hanged on the above roof of Jumaadi Chavadi, later on, in the year 1990, they bought a new Daiwa Mancha and silver statue of the Daiwa and was kept down-side the wall of jumaadi chavadi.

Daiwa was facing towards north. Once in a year, in the month of May, during Sankramana, thambila (Bhutha maaduvudu) was performed for Daiwa. No other parva like Sankranthi, Diwali was done for it. On the day of thambila, from chavadi, Daiwa Mancha was taken to mogasaale (in the past where Shankara Shettru lived) and there used to prepared rice ball, for that laaki( female chicken) was cut and its blood was poured, which was thrown to the middle of yard (nadu jaal) which had tulasi katte.

In the year 2000, in our house, the Ashtamangala Prashne which was kept on the day of thambila, it was found that vegetarian Daiwa Jumadi is unhappy about after accepting flesh food and blood Posappe Daiwa Mancha was brought back and kept in Jumaadi Chavadi, For that reason, later instead of offering chicken it’s been replaced with pumpkin and breaking it, So that the Posappe Daiwa gets satisfied. For one year, family offered pumpkin as the food, after that year when there was Nema kola in house. Four days earlier, during kola, posappe appeared in the night dream and told that she was in need of flesh food and not pure vegetarian to “Sanjeeva maada” and further in the 4 days where posappe kola took place and was asked, then also Daiwa answered that it wants flesh food, so again offering and cutting chicken tradition was made. In the family, for girl’s marriage, health problems, their wishes were appealed by offering flowers, gold. A big silver idol for this Daiwa was bought and donated by Gopal Shetru. There are ornaments for this Daiwa like gold blackbeads, waist hanging, diamond bangles, gold bangles, valindale, nose ring, necklaces. Till the year 2003, the Daiwa’s thambila was done by Thimmappa shetru. From the year 2005, Gururaj maada (until become Mader - means till 2015) he was doing. From 2015 Rajesh Perara was doing. Till 2015, for this Daiwa, in a year, on thambila day, thambila was done. After 2015, every month sankramana was started. Since 2018 chauthi parba was started. This Daiwa accepts all types of parvas.

Since 2015, for jumaadi, there was a new construction of chavadi, after chavadi house was completed, inside the house of padsaale, which was made to face towards and the Daiwa Mancha was hanged to the wall.

Earlier we used to keep small wooden bench on the wall, upon that idol, bettha, kochi was kept for worshipping. This Daiwa likes to settle where people walk around, especially women’s in a house.

Varthe Panjurli

According to the astrologists, Varthe Panjurli came in illusion and get settled in our house, at times when one of our family member (a women – Root of the family) came to Bollolimar Guthu house, This Daiwa get worshiped in a small stone under the tree in Kumeru-field name, where Jagada Panjurli existed.

In the year 2000 our family constructed Thana and built statue kept on hanging table (ujjalu) and brought ayuda for it. First time both the Diawas Varthe and panjurli were kept and believed on the same hanging table, later according to the suggestion it was separately believed in two diifefernt hanging tables.

Before the year 2000 this Daiwa used to get sevas “Chawthi Parva” at times of Diwali and “Tambila”. Later after constructing new Tana (Sthana) Sankramana Seva is also gets added. After Seva of serving Chicken to Varthe, there was an other-tradition of serving Pretha’s (spirit) which was stopped during the same year 2000.

This Daiwa gets silver and gold as seva at times of family’s good and bad times, This Daiwa’s Seva was performed by Shankar Shetty till 2001 and now the same tradition is continued by Devadas Shetty.

Jagada Panjurli

This is our family’s one of the rightful Daiwa, Jagada Panjurli used to get worshiped in the form of a small stone under the Mango tree at Kumeru-a field name.

In the year 2000 our family constructed Thana and built statue kept on hanging table (ujjalu) with kuchimani, sward (Kadsalae). Olden times, before the year 2000 this Daiwa used to get sevas “Chawthi Parva” at times of Diwali and “Tambila (Beshada Agel)” on Sankramana day, in the month of May. Later after constructing new Tana (Sthana) Sankramana Seva is also gets added.

This Daiwa gets Nema (Kola) Seva during the year 2001, 2005 and 2015. This Kola is performed by Pambada’s (Pambadaru). This Daiwa’s Parva Seva was performed by Shankar Shetty till 2010 and now the same tradition is continued by Keshava Shetty.

With Chawthi parva, Diwali parva Seva also given to this Daiwa. Till 2009 after performing Seva’s to Ullaya, pilichandi and Jumadi in the night, the very next morning Jagada panjurli used get Chawthi parva. But now on we used to perform on the same night Seva with Rajan Daiwa’s.

ಉಲ್ಲಾಯ

ಪೆರಾರ ಊರಿನಿಂದ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮರನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಉಲ್ಲಾಯನನ್ನು ಎಡಬಲದಲ್ಲಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮರನ್ನು ಬಟ್ರಗೊಳಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಯ ಪಿಲಿಚಾಂಡಿ ಕಡಲ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಕಾಯರ್ ಕಟ್ಟೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಂತು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತ್ಯಾಂಪಾರಪಾದೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ. ಬೊಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳಿ ಮಾರು ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಮಾಯದಿಂದ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬೊಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳಿ ಮಾರು ಗುತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಯನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿಗೆ ಸಾನ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಧರ್ಮ ನೇಮ ಕೊಡುವಾಗ ಮುಕ್ಕೋಡಿ ಧೂಮನ ಭಕ್ತಿಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಭಂಡಾರದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವಾಗ ಉಲ್ಲಾಯ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವಿಬ್ಬರು ಜೋಡಿಹಕ್ಕಿಗಳಂತೆ ಪೆರಾರದಿಂದ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಂತವರು. ನೀನು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಹೋಗುವ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಕಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನೇಮೋತ್ಸವ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವೆ ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ನನಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ನೇಮೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಮರ್ಯಾದೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆ , ಎಂದಾಗ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ನಾನು ಮುಂದೆ ದ್ವಜಾರೋಹಣ ಆಗಿ ಉತ್ಸವ ಆಗುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ನಿಮಗೂ ನನಗೂ 3 ಸುತ್ತಿನ ಒಪ್ಪತಪ್ಪ ಜೋಗದ ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗುವ ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಬೊಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳಿ ಮಾರುಗುತ್ತಿನ ಆ ಕಾಲದ ಯಜಮಾನರು ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಊರಿಂದ ಬಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ನೆರಳಿಗೆ ಸಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಒಂದು ಗಿಂಡೆ ಹಾಲು ,ಒಂದು ಚೆಂಬು ನೀರು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮನೆ ನಮ್ಮದು . ಇದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನೀನು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಕೂಟವನ್ನು ಸೇರುದಾದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೇನು ಮರ್ಯಾದೆ ಎಂದಾಗ ಪಿಳಿಚಂಡಿ ನಾನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ಕೋಡಿಗೆ ಹೋದರೂ ಬೊಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳಿ ಮಾರುಗುತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಪಾದ ಈ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕಲೆ ಕಾರ್ಣಿಕದಿಂದ ಮೆರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಮುಕ್ಕೋಡಿಯನ್ನು ಭಂಡಾರದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಭಂಡಾರ ಇಳಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಈ ಮನೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನರಿಗೆ (ಮಾಡ) ನೀಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಭಂಡಾರ ಹೋಗುವ ಜಾಗಗಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ವಾಹನ ಹುಲಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇನೆನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಈಗಲೂ ಸಹ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ಯ ಭಂಡಾರ ಇಳಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಮಾಡರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಹುಲಿಯ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಈಗಲೂ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದೆ.

ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಪಾರಳೆಗುತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನವಾದ ಉಲ್ಲಾಯ ಇರುವ ಕಾರಣ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಯನಿಗೆ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಮಾತ್ರದ ಆರಾಧನೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಚಿ ಮನಿ , ತ್ರಿಶೂಲ, ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಇಡಲು ಇಲ್ಲ. ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣದ ದಿನ ದೀಪ, ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಹಬ್ಬ ಹಾಗೂ ಸೋನ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳ ದೀಪ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪರ್ವ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೈಮುಗಿಯುವಾಗ ಮೊದಲು ಉಲ್ಲಾಯನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಧಾನ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.

ಪಿಲಿಚಾಂಡಿ ದೈವಸ್ಥಾನ

ಪೆರ್ಮುದೆ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ದೈವವು ತುಂಬಾ ಪ್ರಭಾವಿ ದೈವವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ದೈವವು ಮೂಲತಃ ಬಾಳೊಳಿ ನಾಡಿನ ದೈವ ವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಒಂದು ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬೆ ಜಾಲ ಗುತ್ತು ಎನ್ನುವ ಮನೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮಂಜು ಪೂಂಜ ಎನ್ನುವವರ ಗುತ್ತಿನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳ್ಳರ ಕಾಟ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಯಿತು. ಅದನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲಾರದ ಅವರು ಬಾಳೊಳಿನಾಡಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಆ ಮನೆಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳ್ಳರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ದೈವ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆಗ ಬಾಳೊಳಿ ನಾಡಿನವರು ಯಾವ ದೈವ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಮಂಜು ಪೂಂಜರು ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ದೈವವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಈ ದೈವವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲು ಬಾಳೊಳಿ ನಾಡಿನವರು ಒಪ್ಪದಿದ್ದಾಗ ಮಂಜು ಪೂಂಜರೂ ಬಾಳೊಳಿ ನಾಡಿನವರಿಗೆ ಹಣ-ಬಂಗಾರದ ಆಸೆ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಹಣವನ್ನು ಕಂಡಾಗ ಬಾಳೊಳಿ ನಾಡಿನವರು ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ದೈವವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲು ಒಪ್ಪುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಮಂಜು ಪೂಂಜರು ವೀಳ್ಯದೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ (ಬಚ್ಚಿರೆ) ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿಯ ರೂಪವನ್ನು ಬರೆದು ತುಂಬೆ ಜಾಲ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿಗೆ ಸಾನ ಚಾವಡಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ನಂಬುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ಮಾಯದಿಂದ ಕಳ್ಳರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಕಳ್ಳರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ದೈವವೆಂಬ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.

ತುಂಬೆಜಾಲಗುತ್ತಿನಿಂದ ದೈವವು ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿದ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ಪೆರಾರ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗ ಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಮನಸ್ಸಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಆಗ ಪೆರಾರ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಾಂಡಿ ದೈವ ತುಂಬ ಪ್ರತಾಪಶಾಲಿ ದೈವವಾಗಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಬೇರೆ ದೈವಗಳನ್ನು ಪೆರಾರ ಗ್ರಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

ಪೆರಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಾಂಡಿ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮ ಆಗುವ ದಿನ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ಮಾಯದಿಂದ ನೇಮ ಆಗುವ ಜಾಗದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತಾನೆ.ಬಲಾಂಡಿಗೆ ನೇಮದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡುವ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತರಲು ಸೇಮಿತ ಎನ್ನುವವರು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ಸೇಮಿತರಿಗೆ ಮಾಯದ ಪೆಟ್ಟು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಸಾಯಿಸುತ್ತನದೆ

ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಳೆಹಣ್ಣು ತರಲು ಹೋದ ಸೇಮಿತರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಯಾಕೆಂದು ಬಲಾಂಡಿ ಮಾಯದ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಇರುವುದು ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಬಲಾಂಡಿ ನೀನು ಯಾಕೆ ಬಂದೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಏನಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದಾಗ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ನನಗೆ ಪೆರಾರ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಬೇಕು.ನನಗೆ ಈ ಊರಿನ ದೈವವಾಗಿ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವಾಗ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿಗೆ ಪೆರಾರ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಬಲಾಂಡಿ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆಗ ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರ ನಡುವೆ ವಾದವಿವಾದಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಬಲಾಂಡಿ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಅಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಕಾರಣಿಕದ ದೈವವಾದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಳೊಳಿ ನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನೀನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಕಡ್ಸಲೇ ( ಆಯುಧ ) ಈ ಜಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಈಗ ಬಂದು ಬೀಳಬೇಕು ಹಾಗೂ ಸತ್ತ ಸೇಮಿತರನ್ನು ಜೀವ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಾಯೆಯಿಂದ ಕಡ್ಸಲೇ ಯನ್ನು ಬರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸತ್ತ ಸೇಮಿತರನ್ನು ಜೀವ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿಯ ಪ್ರತಾಪವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದ ಬಲಾಂಡಿ ಪೆರಾರ ಊರಿನ ಸರ್ವಾಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.ಪೆರಾರ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಕೊಡುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಪೆರಾರದಿಂದ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗ ಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮರನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಉಲ್ಲಾಯನನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಕಡಲಿಗೆ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಲೆಂದು ಹೊರಡುವಾಗ ದಾರಿ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುವ ಪೆರ್ಮುದೆ ಊರಿನ ಭಟ್ರಗೊಳಿ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮರನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ಕಡಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಪೆರ್ಮುದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕುತ್ತೆತ್ತೂರಿನ ಗಡಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶವಾದ ಕಾಯರ್ ಕಟ್ಟೆ ಎಂಬ ಗುಡ್ಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಕೆಳಗೆ ಪೆರ್ಮುದೆ ಊರಿನಡೆಗೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಹಾಯಿಸಿದಾಗ ಹಾಲಿನಷ್ಟು ಹಿತವಾದ ನೀರಿನಷ್ಟು ತಂಪಾದ ಊರು ಪೆರ್ಮುದೆ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಗೋಚರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಈ ದೈವಗಳು "ತ್ಯಾಂಪಾರ ಪಾದೆ" ಎನ್ನುವಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಗ್ರಾಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೋಮನಾಥ ದೇವರ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಪಡೆದು ಪೆರ್ಮುದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಲು ಒಂದು ಉತ್ತಮ ಮನೆತನ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ "ಬೊಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳಿಮಾರು ಗುತ್ತು" ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಗೋಚರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.ಮಾಯದಿಂದ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಉಲ್ಲಾಯ ನಮ್ಮ ಬೊಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳಿಮಾರು ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ದನಕರುಗಳಿಗೆ ರೋಗ-ರುಜಿನ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಎರಡು ದೈವಗಳು ಬಂದಿದೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವು ಸಾನ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಾಗ ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ಉಲ್ಲಾಯನಿಗೆ ಏಳು ಕೋಲು ಉದ್ದದ ಮಾಡ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿಗೆ 7 ಕೋಲು ಅಗಲದ ಸಾನ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಪೆರ್ಮುದೆ ಊರಿಗೆ ಬಿಸಿಲು ಗಾಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲು ಸಾನ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಒಂದು ಗಿಂಡೆ ನೀರು ಹಾಗೂ ಒಂದು ಗಿಂಡೆ ಹಾಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮನೆತನ ಬೊಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳಿಮಾರು ಗುತ್ತು.

ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ಬಂದ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿಗೆ ಧರ್ಮನೇಮ ನೀಡಿ ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದರು. ಧರ್ಮನೇಮದ ದಿನ ದೈವದ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಸಾದ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಬಂದ ಮುಕ್ಕೋಡಿಯ ದೂಮ ಎನ್ನುವ ಪೂಜಾರಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಗ್ರಾಮದೈವ ಆಗುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಮಂಜೋಟ್ಟಿ ಪಾದೆಗೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟು ಮಂಜೋಟ್ಟಿ ಬಾಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕಲ್ಲಂಡ ಪಾದೆಗೆ ಕಾಲಿಟ್ಟು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಮುಕ್ಕೋಡಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ದೈವವಾಗಿ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ತಾಯ ಪಂಜುರ್ಲಿ

ಈ ದೈವ ಪೆರಾರ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಬಲ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಪೆರ್ಮುದೆ ಊರಿನ ಮುಕ್ಕೋಡಿ‌ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದೈವ ಆರಾಧನೆಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ನಮ್ಮ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಮುಕ್ಕೋಡಿ‌ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ದೈವದ ನೇಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದವರು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವಾಗ ಗದ್ದೆಯ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆಂದು ಮುಕ್ಕೋಡಿಯ ಗುಡ್ಡದಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಮರದ ತುಂಡನ್ನು ಬೊಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳಿಮಾರು ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ತಂದಾಗ ಆ ಮರದ ತುಂಡಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈ ದೈವ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂತೆಂದು ಹಿರಿಯರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಈ ದೈವ ಹಲವಾರು ಕಾರ್ಣಿಕಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದೆ .ಸುಮಾರು 40 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ (1980) ಈ ದೈವದ ಸಾನ ಬೀಳುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು. ಆಗ ಈ ದೈವದ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಬೇರೊಂದು ಮನೆತನದ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ಕಲಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಶಾಭಿಷೇಕ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪುರೋಹಿತರು ಈ ದೈವದ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುವವರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ತಾಯಪಂಜುರ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಾದ ಕೊಡಲು ಅಡ್ಡ ಬರುತ್ತದೆಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಕಾರಣ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ದೈವದ ಸಾನ ಬೀಳುವ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ.ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಸಂದರ್ಭ ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರೋರ್ವರಿಗೆ (ಗೋವರ್ಧನ ಪುಷ್ಪ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯ ಮಗ) ಸೌದಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಅವರು ಸೌದಿಗೆ ಹೋಗೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೊದಲು ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆ ತಾಯಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಲು ಮತ್ತು ದೈವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೈ ಮುಗಿಯಲು ಪೆರ್ಮುದೆಗೆ ಬಂದರು.ಎಲ್ಲ ದೈವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೈಮುಗಿದರು.ಆದರೆ ಗದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ತಾಯ ಪಂಜುರ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕೈ ಮುಗಿಯಲು ಮರೆತರು. ಮುಂಬೈಗೆ ವಾಪಸ್ ಹೋದ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಸೌದಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಏನಾದರೊಂದು ಅಡ್ಡಿ ಅಡೆತಡೆ ಬಂದು ಹೋಗಲಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ತಾಯ ಪಂಜುರ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕೈ ಮುಗಿಯದೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದು ಆ ದೈವ ತಡೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಕಂಡುಬಂತು. ನಂತರ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಲಾಯಿತು. ಮೇಲೆ ಬರೆದ 1980 ಇಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದೈವದ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ತಿಮ್ಮಪ್ಪ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರು. ಇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಾದ ಕೊಡುವಾಗ ದೈವ ಅಡ್ಡ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಪುರೋಹಿತರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು.

ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಸಲ ಈ ದೈವದ ತಂಬಿಲಕೆ ಎಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೊಬ್ಬರು ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ಕಡಿಯಲೆಂದು ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಕೋಳಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು ಆ ಕೋಳಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಾ ತಂಬಿಲದ ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹುಂಜ ವಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಹುಂಜವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಗೆ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾರಿದರೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಹಣ ಸಿಗಬಹುದೆಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸಿ ಈ ಕೋಳಿಯ ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಬೇರೊಂದು ಕೋಳಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದು ಕಡಿದರು.ಅದರ ಮರುದಿನವೇ ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟ ಕೋಳಿ ತನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸತ್ತುಹೋಯಿತು. ಇಂಥಹ ಹಲವಾರು ಕಾರ್ಣಿಕ ಈ ದೈವ ತೋರಿಸಿದೆ.

ನಮ್ಮ ಭೂಮಿ MRPL ಕಂಪನಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಆಗುವ ಮೊದಲು ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಗದ್ದೆಯ ಮೂಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾನ ಇತ್ತು.ಆ ಗದ್ದೆಯ ಹೆಸರು ಪೊಸಂಡ ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ಉಜ್ಜಲು ಮಂಚ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಮುಂಡ್ಯ ಎನ್ನುವ ಸಣ್ಣ ಹಲಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಊರಿ ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ಬಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. 2003 ಇಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಸಾನ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಉಜ್ಜಲು ಮಾಡಿ ಕೂಚಿ ಮಣಿ ಕಡ್ಸಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಇಡಲಾಯಿತು. 2003 ಇಸವಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಪರ್ವ ಮಾತ್ರ ಇತ್ತು.ಒಂದು ಚೌತಿ ಪರ್ಬ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ವರ್ಷದ ಅಗೆಲ್ ಮೇ ತಿಂಗಳ ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣದಂದು ತಂಬಿಲ 2003 ಇಸವಿಯ ನಂತರ ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದೆವು. ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ 2001, 2005 ಮತ್ತು 2015ರಂದು ನೇಮವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ಪೊಟ್ಟೆ ಪಂಜುರ್ಲಿ ಎನ್ನುವ ಬಂಟ ಇದೆ.

ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ 2002 ರ ಇಸವಿಯವರೆಗೆ ತಿಮ್ಮಪ್ಪ ಶೆಟ್ರು 2003 ರಿಂದ 2013ರ ವರೆಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಧರ್ ಶೆಟ್ರು ಪರ್ವ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. 2015 ರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡು ಬಂದಂತೆ ಗಡಿ ಹಿಡಿದವರಾದ ಗುರುರಾಜ ಮಾಡ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪೊಸಪ್ಪೆ

ಪೊಸಪ್ಪೆ ಈ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ದೈವವನ್ನು ಪೊಸಪ್ಪೆ,ಪೊಸಭೂತ ಸತ್ಯದೇವತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಂಗನಾಡ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.ಇದು ದೇವಿ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಮನೆಯ ಚಾವಡಿ ಪಡಸಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಾಧಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಬ್ರಾಹ್ಮಣರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದು ಸಸ್ಯಹಾರಿ ಅನ್ಯಜಾತಿಯರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತ ಹಾರವನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವ ದೈವವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸರ್ವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಇದಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜುಮಾದಿ ಚಾವಡಿಯ ಮಹಡಿಗೆ ಇದರ ಮಂಚವನ್ನು ನೇತಾಡಿಸಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿದರು ನಂತರ 1990 ಇಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸ ಮಂಚ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಪಾಪೆ(ಮೂರ್ತಿ)ಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಜುಮಾದಿ ಚಾವಡಿಯ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಅಂತರದ ಗೋಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿದರು.

ಈ ದೈವವು ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖಮಾಡಿ ಇತ್ತು. ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದುಸಲ ಮೇ ತಿಂಗಳ ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣದಂದು ತಂಬಿಲ(ಭೂತ ಮಾಡುವುದು) ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂದಿ ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಪರ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ತಂಬಿಲದ ದಿನ ಚಾವಡಿಯಿಂದ ಇದರ ಮಂಚವನ್ನು ಮೊಗಸಾಲೆ (ಹಿಂದೆ ಶಂಕರ್ ಶೆಟ್ರು ಇದ್ದ ಮನೆಗೆ)ಗೆ ಕೊಂಡೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ನದ ಮುದ್ದೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಹಾಕಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಲಾಕಿ (ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕೋಳಿ) ಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ಅದರ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಅನ್ನದ ಮುದ್ದೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಎದುರು ತುಳಸಿಕಟ್ಟೆ ಇರುವ ನಡು ಜಾಲಿಗೆ ಬಿಸಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

2000 ಇಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟ ಅಷ್ಟಮಂಗಲ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಬಿಲ ದಿನ ಪೊಸಪ್ಪೆ ರಕ್ತಾಹಾರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ನಂತರ ಜುಮಾದಿ ಚಾವಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಚವನ್ನು ತಂದು ಇಡುವುದು ಸಸ್ಯಹಾರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವ ಜುಮಾದಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಿಲ್ಲ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಕೋಳಿಯ ಬದಲು ಕುಂಬಳಕಾಯಿ ಕಡಿಯಿರಿ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಅದರಂತೆ ನಾವು ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಕುಂಬಳಕಾಯಿ ಕಡಿದು ಆಹಾರ ನೀಡಿದೆವು ಅದರ ನಂತರದ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೈವಗಳಿಗೆ ನೇಮ ಕೋಲ ಇತ್ತು. ಕೋಲಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿನ ಮುಂಚೆ ಸಂಜೀವ ಮಾಡರಿಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪೊಸಪ್ಪೆ ಬಂದು ನನಗೆ ರಕ್ತ ಹಾರವೇ ಬೇಕು ಸಸ್ಯಹಾರ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿತಂತೆ. ನಂತರ ಮುಂದೆ 4 ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪೊಸಪ್ಪೆ ಕೋಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಆಗಲೂ ದೈವ ನನಗೆ ರಕ್ತ ಹಾರವೇ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮತ್ತೆ ಕೋಳಿ ಕಡಿಯುವ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮದುವೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಇಷ್ಟಾರ್ಥ ಸಿದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಈ ದೈವ ಹೂ ಬಂಗಾರ ಹರಕೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ದೈವದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಗೋಪಾಲ ಶೆಟ್ರು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ದೈವೂಗು ಬಂಗಾರದ ಕರಿಮಣಿ,ಬಂಗಾರದ ಸೊಂಟಪಟ್ಟಿ, ವಜ್ರದ ಬಳೆ,ಬಂಗಾರದ ಬಳೆ, ಮುಂದಲೆ,ಮೂಗುತಿ ಸರಗಳಿವೆ. ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ತಂಬಿಲ ವನ್ನು 2003 ಇಸವಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಮ್ಮಪ್ಪ ಶೆಟ್ರು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು 2005 ಇಸವಿಯಿಂದ (ಗುರುರಾಜ ಮಾಡ ಗಡಿ ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಮೊದಲು ಅಂದರೆ 2015ರ ವರೆಗೆ) ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು 2015ರಿಂದ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಪೆರಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ 2015 ಇಸವಿಯವರೆಗೆ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಬಿಲ ದ ದಿನ ತಂಬಿಲ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. 2015 ಇಸವಿಯ ನಂತರ ತಿಂಗಳು ತಿಂಗಳು ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದೆವು. 2018 ಇಸವಿಯಿಂದ ಚೌತಿ ಪರ್ವವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ಈ ದೈವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪರ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.

2015 ರಿಂದ ಜುಮಾದಿ ಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಚಾವಡಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಚಾವಡಿ ಮನೆ ಮಾಡಿದಮೇಲೆ ಮನೆಯ ಪಡಸಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ ಮಾಡಿ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಂಚ ಇಟ್ಟು ನಂಬಲಾಯಿತು.

ಹಿಂದೆ ಮಣೆಯನ್ನು ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲಿಟ್ಟು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಬೆತ್ತ ಕೂಚಿ ಇಟ್ಟು ಆರಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಂಗಸರು ಜನರ ಸಂಚಾರವಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಸಲು ಬೇಕು.

ವರ್ತೆ ಪಂಜುರ್ಲಿ

ಈ ದೈವ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆತನದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಹೆಂಗಸು ಈ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವರೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಮಾಯದಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಜ್ಯೋತಿಷ್ಯರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಈ ದೈವವು ಸಹ ಅನಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಗದ ಪಂಜುರ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಕೋ ಮೇರಿ ನಲ್ಲೆ ಮರದ ಬುಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕಲ್ಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

2000 ಇಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾನ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಆಯುಧ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಯಾಗೂ ಉಜ್ಜಲು ಮಾಡಿ ನಂಬಲಾಯಿತು ಮೊದಲು ಒಂದೇ ಉಜ್ಜಲು ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ದೈವಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿತ್ತು ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡುಬಂದಂತೆ ಎರಡು ದೈವಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ ಉಜ್ಜಲು ಮಾಡಿ ನಂಬಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ 2000 ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೌತಿ ಪರ್ಬ ಹಾಗೂ ವರ್ಷದ ಆಗಿಲ್( ತಂಬಿಲ) ಮಾತ್ರ ಇತ್ತು.

ಹೊಸ ಸಾನ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಕ್ರಮ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು 2000 ಇಸವಿಯಿಂದ (ಮೊದಲು ಸಾನ ಕಟ್ಟುವ ಮೊದಲು) ವರ್ತೆ ಗೆ ಕೋಳಿ ಬಡಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಪ್ರೇತ ಗಳಿಗೂ ಬಡಿಸುವ ಕ್ರಮವಿತ್ತು ನಂತರ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಜಗದ ಪಂಜುರ್ಲಿ

ಈ ದೈವ ಈ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ದೈವ. ಈ ದೈವ 2000 ಇಸವಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೂಲದ ಬೊಳ್ಳೊಳ್ಳಿಮಾರುಗುತ್ತಿನ ಕುಮೇರು ಎನ್ನುವ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾವಿನ ಮರದ ಬುಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಾಧನೆಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

2000 ಇಸವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಮೇರು ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾನ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಉಜ್ಜಲು ಹಾಕಿ ಕೋಚಿ ಮನಿ ಕಡ್ಸಲೆ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಇಟ್ಟು ಆರಾಧಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಹಿರಿಯರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೌತಿ ಪರ್ಬ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೇ ತಿಂಗಳ ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣದಂದು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವರ್ಷದ ಅಗೆಲ್( ತಂಬಿಲ) ಮಾತ್ರ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಹೊಸ ಸಾನವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಕ್ರಮಣ ಮಾಡುವ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು.

ಇದಕ್ಕೂ 2001,2005 ಮತ್ತು 2015 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಕೋಲವನ್ನು ಪಂಬದರು ಕಟ್ಟುವುದು ಈ ದೈವಕ್ಕೆ 2010ರ ವರೆಗೆ ಶಂಕರ್ ಶೆಟ್ರು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದ ಕಾರಣ ನಂತರ ಕೇಶವ ಶೆಟ್ರು ಇದರ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಚೌತಿಯ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಪರ್ವವನ್ನು ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯೆಂದೇ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ 2009ರ ವರೆಗೆ ಈ ದೈವಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಜನ್ ದೈವಗಳಾದ ಉಲ್ಲಾಯ ಪಿಲಿಚಂಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಜುಮಾದಿಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ದೀಪಾವಳಿ ಪರ್ವ ನಡೆದು ಅದರ ಮರುದಿನ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಚೌತಿ ಪರ್ವ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಈಗ ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯ ರಾತ್ರಿಯೇ ರಾಜನ್ ದೈವಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದನಂತರ ಈ ದೈವಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ.
